Velocity of the creeks water.

One day my class and I, went down to look at the velocity of the water in Omaru Creek.  We made some paper boats, and took it down. We let them sail in the water, and It was really great to see the water flowing and not standing still like the first time we went there.

In class I buddied up with my friend Kuraia and, together we worked on making a song/poem about the Omaru Creek.

You should take a little peek

at Omaru Creek

It’s dirty and rotten

and people have forgotten

It’s important to us

but we don’t make a big fuss.

We need to clean the creek and make it healthy again

It’s not too hard, just use your brain

We need your big voice

Just make the right choice

So help us save the Omaru creek
