Activity 1 : Rags to riches
I choose one of my favourite books, "the absolutely true diary of a part time Indian". When looking at the cover I created it really does remind me of the book.

Great book design Limi and it made me go and find out information about the book...I'll pick it up when I'm next in the library. I think you'd like The Alchemist, it follows the journey of an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago. Believing a recurring dream to be prophetic, he asks a Gypsy fortune teller in the nearby town about its meaning. The woman interprets the dream as a prophecy telling the boy that he will discover a treasure at the Egyptian pyramids.
Hello Limiteti
Well done on finishing this SLJ activity. Last year my English class did a book study on 'The absolutely true diary of a part-time Indian'. I also thought that it was a great book. It had a lot of funny moments that made my entire class crack up. I really like the way you made the cover (especially with the creative way you put the author's name in). Keep up the good work.

Kia ora Limiteti,
I don't know where to start so I'll just say that you have so much creativity! I like the fonts you've picked and how you've decided to present the author's name! What is the book about?
Kind regards,
Riiana
