Make coconut cookies
Today in cooking class we made some coconut cookies. By making the cookies we were building our confidence in reading the ingredients and also in measuring them. The coconut cookies tasted just like the name that they were given. It consisted of coconuts and tasted so much like it too. The cookies were very delicious when they are freshly cooked because they were nice, soft and moist. The cookies tasted amazing but it was just a bit to oily for my liking. I just can't wait to see what we will learn in out next cooking class.

Chocolate Muffins
In food tech today we learnt how to make chocolate muffins. It was just the same as making coloured muffin but instead of adding food colouring, we added in Coco powder. We learnt how to fold in the batter and not mix it. We also learnt how to measure the ingredients and how to read it as well. Today’s lesson was really fun and I can’t wait to see what we will be cooking next.
