My favourite game right now is volleyball!!!. I love volleyball so much, I love everything about it, from the thrill I get when serving to the nerves I get when spiking (well trying to spike). To play you need 2 teams (each team must have 6 players each), from there you need a net to separate both teams and a "volleyball" to pass back and forth from both teams. Although, no one can hold the ball, no person can hit the ball twice in a row, the maximum number of hits your team can do is 3 before you HAVE to send it over the net to the other side. To score a point you must hit the ball over the net and on the other teams side of the court, both teams are trying to see who can win a "set" (a set is basically a round that only ends when one team has reached 25 points, or is 2 points ahead when tying at 25 or more".That is just some simple rules for my favourite game, its not very easy to explain in the game words than it is to show, so I have linked a simple video to help explain my favourite game volleyball.

Volleyball rocks - did you play for GIS at sports camp? DO you play for an outside team? Keep blogging, and commenting on others to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes, and to keep up your learning over the school break!

Kia ora Limiteti,

When Ruapotaka had volleyball on its curriculum it was a blast! How long have you been playing volleyball and what positions do you like playing?

Sincerely,
Riiana
