Activity 1 : Fashion forward
Twenty-seven names is a fashion company that was originally named "Love Lies Bleeding", but after discovering that their company name was copyrighted by another company in America they decided to chance their store name instead of wasting time (and probably money) dealing with a lawsuit. Trying to figure out a new name for the company they wrote down the names of the people who have backed up and stuck with the company every step of the way. writing down every name gave the 27 in total, giving them their now new company name "Twenty-Seven Names". From looking at their clothing brand I don't think their name goes with their clothes and I really do think they should change it. Although the story behind them coming up with their store name makes up for the odd but amazing decision.

Who from primary school could you see yourself setting up a business with Limi? Rachel Easting and Anjali Burnett met at primary school. After studying art and fashion respectively the pair began working on small scale projects before launching their brand 'twenty-seven names'. The label name is a homage to the list of 27 people who helped to get their label off the ground.
