This week for maths we had to draw shapes and identify the angles. We had to use a protractor to help us figure it out .Our teacher said to us ...

What are the interesting facts about you're angles.

And they are...

1. The 3 angles of a triangle will total to 180.
2. The 4 angles of a square will total to 360.
3. The opposite angles of a Rhombus and parallelogram are equal.
4. Co-interior angles of a Rhombus and parallelogram total to 180.
5. A curicel is 360o .
6. A straight line is 180o .
7. The base angles in an Isosceles Triangle are equal.

Now I know how to do shapes and angles using a protractor.

Limi's diamante poem

This is my diamante poem we did in class today. We have been learning about nouns , verb and adjectives.
We wrote a diamante poem to describe a tree and a flower.

Limi's diamante poem on Dog and Cat

This is a diamante poem. We were learning about diamante poem today.  We learnt how to describe a cat and a dog using nouns, adjectives and verbs.  I learnt that a cat is a feline.

I like this book because it is simple to read , very short and it talks about two spooky friends who can't agree with anything until they started to paint and draw. 

I'm learning equivalent frations

We have been learning about equivalent fractions. We made fractions from shapes , photographed it and inserted it into our document. I learnt that 2/4 = 1/2 , 5/10 = 1/2 and 1/3 = 2/6.
It was fun making equivalent fractions with shapes.
